What a great concept! Most people in the business world apply this learned skill in order to help them better understand their clients and as a result succeed in achieving their mutual goals. When mutual business goals are met and success is achieved trust and confidence in the business relationship grows. The same is also true in personal relationships.
However, in our personal relationships with the people we care about and love the most we usually want to be understood before we are ready or willing to listen, hear and really understand the significant people in our life. That’s human nature.
